Our Lady of Guadalupe today
In Tepeyac today, on a hill to the north of Mexico City, this is the old basilica, Antigua Basílica de Guadalupe, shown in the center of the magical photo below, with the new Basílica de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe on the right.
Below, this is a view from in front, with the new basilica now on the left, the old one in the middle and the Capuchin nuns' temple and convent on the right. The venerated icon at bottom is in the new basilica.
A prototype: a pregnant woman clothed with the Sun and standing on the Moon (circa 1450), from the Speculum humanae salvationist.
